Victoria BC
With alley ways to discover such as Bastion Square and Fan Tan Alley,Victoria keeps dishing up nice discoveries. History such as the end of the Trans Canada Rail and hosting North America's 2nd oldest China Town , blending the new with the old there is something for everyone in the heart of this town. Ladies can shop til they drop in the modern shopping plaza such as the Eaton Centre with its 6 story naturally lit center arcade. Two old style English pubs and Canada's narrowest commercial street,- this Fan Tan alley ,featured in the movie 'Bird on a Wire'.
Not to mention famous chocolate shops and pastry Chefs tempting you along the way with their creative window displays.
EAT YOUR HEART OUTwith
The festive spirit is even alight on the Government house, the B.C. provincial capital landmark that stands adjacent the town harbor and the Empress Hotel.

The Victorian architecture complete with the skippers widows walk can be seen along the seaside , it is enjoyable if you are a walker or otherwise take a mini harbor crossing ferry to the fisher mans warf. The fisher mans warf is of course the best place to buy a fantastic fish burger, or fresh sea food for your own grill. It is an interesting place with it's float house village and active commercial fishing fleet.
Usually the residents seals are hungrily looking for hand outs-I should post a video of this because it can be a bit of a bad idea.

I suppose with this proper his and hers appeal we can understand why it is a honeymoon destination. For me when I stand in front of our first nations Totem I feel my soul has come home.
